Greenland Glaciers

In Greenland, the ice streams of the glaciers stretch across valleys that they formed themselves over many miles, the complex stream lines standing out due to the dark medial moraines. The weight of the ice crust presses the subsoil down so that entire mountains are below sea level. Once the weight lifts, they rise again.
